The visual exploration layerfor AI-native designers.

Moodbit is a visual context workspace for designers working with AI. Save and annotate references, point at what you want to change in your own app, and turn it all into context your AI can use.

How Moodbit works

Explore mode

Explore: keep the detail that caught your eye

Save the part of a page you’re looking at, an image, a link, or a few words. Draw on screenshots, leave notes, crop the good bit, and collect everything in projects you can search and revisit.

Build mode

Build: feedback starts with a click

Open your app on localhost and point at the exact element you want to change. Write what feels off, draw what you mean, and add a saved reference that shows where you want to go.

Send the full picture

Send one note or several together when you’re ready. Your Claude Code session gets your words, screenshots, the element you clicked, and the references you chose. If Claude is closed, your notes wait for it.

A reference can show what you like.It can’t explain what you saw in it.

here’s why.
  • 01 · shape

    “This curve. Just this curve.”

  • 02 · colour

    “This green shade”

  • 03 · spacing

    “This amount of white space.”

  • 04 · structure

“Keep the structure. Lose the styling.”

Not a collection of inspiration. A collection of viewpoints.

Most inspiration tools remember what you saved.

Moodbit remembers:

  1. what you noticed
  2. what you liked
  3. what you rejected
  4. what you wanted to borrow
  5. what you absolutely did not want copied

That turns a pile of references into actualvisual research.

Build the visual thinkingbehind a project.

Every project becomes a record of how you explored it.

Typography. Layouts. Interactions. Characters. Colours. Copy. Tiny details that don’t belong anywhere else.

Not just a moodboard.A visual trail of the decisions forming in your head.

AI can make the pixels.Designers bring the taste & judgement.

AI is making execution faster. That doesn’t make design less important. It makes taste, restraint, context, and judgement more visible.

Designers spend years building those instincts by looking, making, comparing, rejecting, and noticing. Moodbit gives that thinking somewhere to live. And somewhere for AI to read it.

A field of identical pixels with one highlighted: judgement, the one you’d defend in a crit.

Less prompting.More pointing.

Moodbit gives you another way.

Point at the thing. Say what matters. Hand that context to the AI.

The dock lives on every website you open. Draw a box, drop a pin, type the thought. It is in your project before you finish the sentence.

That’s Moodbit.

Box it, pin it, say why. Moodbit turns what you notice into context your AI can use.
